Web Grievance Prototype, CUPW (Oct – Nov 1999)

Peter was part of a small team that developed a Web-based version of CUPW’s Oracle Applications Custom Grievance module at a time when Oracle Applications was still a client-server system.  This project was his first introduction to web-based development with Oracle including the dynamic creation of web pages using PL/SQL.  He learned how to install and configure Oracle Web Application Server 3.1.0, converted several forms and reports for the Web using Developer/2000, and wrote back-end logic for authentication of Web users using PL/SQL.  He also redesigned database triggers, added tables, and created PL/SQL packages to support this process.
